Three steps, start to finish
From the garden design to your first phone call, with no middlemen and no bidding wars.
- The owner designs the garden and asks for a professional
Using SprinklerMap they design their own system: perimeter, sprinklers, materials list and estimated hours. When they are done they choose what to share — the design, the materials list, the estimate — state when they would like the work done and which area or town the garden is in. They are never asked for the address: only the area.
- The request reaches professionals in the area
The request is shown to professionals with a verified profile who cover it: within the radius they declared, within the largest garden they take on, and with availability switched on. Before opening it you see the approximate distance, the town, the area and the timing — enough to judge whether it is worth a closer look. Only then do you see the design itself, and only the parts the owner authorised.
- You register your availability and your contact is passed to the owner
If the job interests you, you register your availability. The owner is shown your business card — name, contact, phone, email, website — and it is their decision whether to call. You never receive their details, and you never have to chase anyone.
Why the owner makes the first move
On traditional portals one enquiry is resold to many professionals, who all ring the same person the same afternoon. The owner regrets leaving their number, and whoever paid for that contact reaches someone already annoyed.
Here the direction is reversed: their contact details never leave the platform. You make yourself available, they choose. Anyone who calls you does so because they saw your card and decided to — and that changes the tone of the first phone call entirely.
What is never shared
The owner decides what to show, and some things are not even negotiable: they never leave the platform.
- The owner’s name, email, phone number and address.
- The exact location of the garden: distance is rounded, and the satellite map is never shown.
- The name the owner gave their own garden.
- The parts of the design they chose not to share.
What you need to sign up
- To own the business, or hold a mandate to represent it.
- A real, verifiable VAT number and contact details.
- The town you work out of and the radius you travel.
- To accept the terms for professionals.
The review
Every profile is checked by hand before it goes live, usually within 24–48 hours: the more complete the profile, the faster the review. It is the filter that keeps invented profiles out, and what makes your card credible when it lands in front of an owner.
How to sign up
Open SprinklerMap, sign in with Google or Apple, and from the Settings menu choose “Are you a professional?”. From there you read the terms and fill in your business profile. Signing up is free.
