About Ambrogio Robot
Ambrogio Robot is the garden robotics brand of Zucchetti Centro Sistemi, a Tuscan company founded in 1985 and active in industrial robotics before it ever entered the garden. It is the only significant manufacturer in the sector that designs and assembles in Italy, with a dense network of dealers and service centres across the country.
The range is unusually broad and splits into two philosophies. The L60 models work without a perimeter wire and without installation: you set them on the lawn and they start, recognising grass with a dedicated sensor — by far the simplest solution for small gardens. The Twenty series, by contrast, is wired and aims at larger areas, with brushless motors and batteries that deliver several hours of continuous work.
For an Italian user the concrete advantage is support: spare parts you can actually find, authorised centres nearby and help in your own language — three things that are never a given with imported brands. On price Ambrogio sits in the mid-to-high bracket, in line with Husqvarna on its flagship models.
