About Segway Navimow
Navimow is the robotic mower line of Segway-Ninebot, the company known for scooters and electric personal mobility vehicles. Launched in Europe in 2022, it forced a change of paradigm in the category: no perimeter wire to bury, but an RTK antenna that brings satellite positioning down to centimetre accuracy.
In practice, installation comes down to placing the charging base and the antenna, then walking the perimeter with your phone to draw the lawn. Working zones can be redrawn from the app at any time, something impossible with a wired setup: if the garden changes — a new flower bed, a freshly seeded area to protect — thirty seconds on the phone are enough.
It is the most sensible choice when the lawn is large or when you want to avoid digging into a finished garden, perhaps over an irrigation system you have just laid. The limit is dependence on the satellite signal: under dense tree canopy or between tall buildings performance drops, and on small enclosed gardens a wired model stays cheaper and more predictable.
